For committed clients seeking drug-free, evidence-based options.
What Is Low Level Laser Therapy?
Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT), also known as photobiomodulation, uses low-power light at specific wavelengths (660 to 905nm) to stimulate cellular activity, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair. Unlike surgical lasers, cold lasers produce no heat and no discomfort.
How It Works
Cold Laser Applied
Low-power light is directed at the affected area with no heat and no discomfort.
Cellular Absorption
Specific wavelengths penetrate tissue and are absorbed by chromophores in your cells.
ATP Production Boosted
Mitochondrial activity increases, producing more cellular energy to fuel repair.
Inflammation Modulated
Inflammatory mediators are reduced while anti-inflammatory pathways are activated.
Key Benefits
- Reduces pain and swelling in back, neck, and joints
- Speeds tissue repair for injuries, sprains, and arthritis
- Modulates inflammation at the cellular level
- Improves function without side effects or drug interactions
- Anti-inflammatory properties enhance other therapies
- Safe, painless, and effective for acute and chronic conditions

What the research shows
A Lancet meta-analysis of 16 randomized trials with 820 people found low level laser reduced neck pain. In chronic neck pain, relief lasted up to 22 weeks after treatment, and side effects were no different from placebo. (Chow et al., 2009)
A 2025 review of 35 trials found low level laser gave more pain relief than minimal treatment in chronic tendon problems, with more sessions linked to more relief. (Yap and Lim, 2025)
These are published study results, not a promise of results for any one person. Your plan is built after the first conversation.
